Mr. Blanco graduated from UC Davis School of Law (King Hall) in 1980. He has worked for the ALRB continuously since 1980. He would spend most of those years working for the General Counsel’s Office; starting as a front line prosecutor and subsequently has held numerous positions in the Sacramento headquarters of the ALRB General Counsel including Deputy General Counsel. Currently, he is working directly for the Board with a primary focus on regulatory proposals and, in 2016, he was given the primary responsibility of education and outreach to the Cannabis cultivator community. He has previously spoken at NCIA, CCIA and CGA events and to gatherings of cannabis cultivators, both large and small, throughout the State raising awareness about the function and importance of the labor law to cultivators and their employees.
