Carolina Garcia

Psychedelic veteran Carolyn Adams Garcia (aka Mountain Girl) joined the Merry Pranksters in 1964 and traveled on Ken Kesey’s bus “Furthur” presenting “Acid Tests” in California. She joined the Grateful Dead family in the Haight-Ashbury in 1966. Jerry Garcia and Carolyn have two daughters.

She began growing many varieties of cannabis in 1971 to supply friends and family with organically grown herbs.
In 1975 she published the first draft of her Sinsemilla organic growing guide, “Primo Plant”, which became a best seller for several years.

She has also served on board of Rex Foundation and Further Foundation for many years, and keeps up with emerging psychedelic and cannabis issues and developments. Currently, she has started “Mountain Girl’s Botanica” in Oregon, to develop CBD products.

She maintains a Qi Gung practice, organic gardens and her family farm. Investigating the marvelous is her hobby.
